To most of us, work plays an important role in our lifes. In our society, having a job is valuable to us as individuals, as it increases our worth.
Many of us take jobs for granted, but not everyone is capable of entering the job market. Too many groups of people are prevented from taking an active role in society because of functional disability. The vision of Mica is that "Eveyone has the right to work". Mica stands for "Man in the centre - work" and we have developed a unique three-stage method in order to help disabled people to get started in normal jobs.
The time needed to carry out the three stages varies - when the employee is ready another step is taken towards an independent quality of life.

The Mica target groups are mixed and our work is based on current legislation: the Act on Suport and Service for certain functional disabilities and the Act on Welfare Services.
